We're excited to be returning to the historic the Earle Theatre for a return appearance on the Merry-Go-Round…the second-longest-running live radio show in the nation, broadcast on WPAQ 740 AM in Mount Airy, NC every Saturday. We’re on live - Saturday, September 19th - from just after the noon news until 1:30pm.

Built in 1938, the Earle Theatre has remained much the same as it was in the 1930s. Your $8 ticket to the show also includes your admission to the Old-Time Music Heritage Hall and the Andy Griffith Museum, so if you’re in the neighborhood, stop in!

Join Eulalie for an evening at the Charlotte Folk Society’s Front Porch Music series, an intimate, laid-back gathering built around live music, friends, family, and community.

Come for the 7 p.m. concert, or arrive earlier with an instrument to enjoy the free bluegrass and old-time jams that traditionally precede the featured performance. The evening may also include food trucks and social time; check the Charlotte Folk Society’s event page for the final schedule and on-site details.

There is no admission charge for the Gathering, which begins at 5:30pm. The Charlotte Folk Society welcomes suggested donations—typically $10–15 per person, depending on the event—to help meet operating costs.
